The Damascus sneaker started with a simple question: What do people actually want from a 3D-printed shoe? I ran a poll of 100 people to find out what they knew—and didn’t know—about 3D printing and footwear. From there, I hit the ground running, visiting SneakerCon in Tampa to get a real sense of what was already out there.
Over the next three months, I sketched nonstop, exploring dozens of ideas before narrowing it down to three core concepts. Those designs went through refinement, prototyping, and hours of wear-testing at the gym. For eight months, I iterated in CAD, tweaking structure, fit, and performance with every version.
The final production run reflects that journey: a shoe forged through research, experimentation, and relentless testing—like the Damascus steel it's named after.
